About the original painting: The size of the original painting is 11 x 14 inches, acrylic on board. This is the first time I've ever seen these picturesque sailboats docked together in Wellfleet harbor for more than a few minutes. The weather was nippy, bordering on freezing. The wind was up and a good rain was due. I began the picture outside, overlooking the harbor but was soon driven into my van by sheets of pelting rain. But I did, finally, get my sailboat painting.
