About the original painting: The size of the original painting is 12 x 15 inches, acrylic on board. When my wife dragged out and hosed down our four kayaks, I knew that the cottage people would soon be pouncing and what was now a fetching arrangement of shapes and colors would quickly be reduced to a couple of squashed down patches of grass. So acting in haste for fear of repenting in leisure, I dashed out this painting in an intense, two hour session.
