About the original painting: The size of the original painting is 10 x 12 inches, acrylic on board. I chose to work small here to enable me to better catch the fast moving sunlight skittering across the room. The razzle-dazzle of the cool green sofa playing against the reddish floor became the focal point of the composition with everything else subordinated to play up the striking patterns of the effect. The original painting is in a private collection on Cape Cod.
