About the original painting: This work measures 11 x 14 inches and was painted with acrylics on board. This is the third, and largest piece I've down of the excellent view out the second floor window of my house. It was January, the temperature was below freezing and the wind was gusting, but ensconced in a cozy back bedroom, I took my good old time - about 4 hours - working at capturing just the right shade of mood the rooftop landscape evoked. The original painting was first exhibited at the Creative Arts Center in Chatham, Cape Cod. The work is currently in the collection of the artist.
