About the original painting: Measuring 12 x 18 inches, the work was painted in acrylic on board. I was standing on a windy hill overlooking the same harbor Marsdon Hartley and John Marin painted so fetchingly well. The piece was exhibited at the Plein Air Painters of America Old Lyme Exhibit in 2002. The original is in the collection of the artist.
